Price Increase

 Our 2023/24 tariff is now in place until the end of February 2024

Since we took over the running of the caravan park from John’s mum in 2006 our aim WAS never to take advantage of our visitors by making lots of money, but running our caravan & camping park is a way of life for us all as a family.

As long as we have had enough money to update, repair and improve the park each year with enough to live on, we would & could not ask for more

Therefore… the new increase for 2023/24 is hard for us to digest and the Government seems to be trying to cripple small businesses and are offering little or no help.

Our new electric contract is still double from what we were paying last year.   If we were to increase our prices to meet the new best energy price, we would be looking at increasing the nights cost by approx. £10.00 per night.  We will NOT do this: we need you all to keep visiting us!!!

We have decided to increase our nightly tariff by £4.00 per night absorbing the rest ourselves…. this is where we need to ask for your assistance – to help keep our costs down by being vigilant with your usage i.e., not using heaters in awnings or leaving windows wide open while heaters are burning away in your units etc.

 We really do not want to keep making price hikes but this is something we would need to do if the electric is abused.

Not only do we have the electricity price rise but everything else has risen hugely too.

We truly appreciate your support and we really are sorry for the large price increase for the 2023/24 season but we are doing our ultimate best to absorb costs but at the same time offering you the same great service we always strive to give.
